Celebrating 10 Years on Track
For 10 years, thousands of activists around the globe have leveraged the Gandhi King Season for Nonviolence as an opportunity to build and launch some of the most cutting-edge peace programs of our generation. The Season book-ends the memorial anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi (January 30) and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr (April 4). This exemplary leadership has put Peace on Track in more than 400 U.S. cities and 18 countries through programs aimed at reducing violence in our homes, schools, and communities — laying the tracks for cultural transformation grounded in the Gandhi King vision.
